New Bag rules are overkill!

The game was great! The new bag rule, not so much. I understand the need for safety, but to not allow diaper bags when you have several small children who require diapers, wipes, and changes of clothes is ridiculous! I would have not minded (and in the past didn’t mind) being pulled to the side and having my things thoroughly searched so that I could have all that my children required. And with the no re-entry, if you needed to grab something because you had to leave it in the car due to the new rule...oh well! Sure, you could stuff some items into a ziplock bag, but that only holds so much. I did end up purchasing one of the clear totes they were selling, but that was after we were already inside. For a venue that says they are family friendly, this didn’t seem friendly at all!

We love the Riverhounds! But...

We absolutely love the Riverhounds and love going to games to support them! This review has nothing to do with the players and the staff. The stadium however leaves much to be desired. The screen - first of all, it's too small for a stadium that size, and why only one screen? If you were going to go with one screen, at least make it larger than the one that's there. But it doesn't really matter because the image quality is abysmal and the replays are hit or miss to be honest (sometimes they'll play a replay and sometimes they won't). The sound system is in need of a serious upgrade. We've literally sat in seats that gave me a headache - I'm sure would give others a migraine. The bass is so bad you can't even have a conversation with the people sitting right next to you. The bathrooms are small, dark, and dingy. There is a towel dispenser in the bathroom furthest East in the stadium that I've never seen working - the paper towels just sit on the ledge of the trash can and you unwrap to use it, if that makes sense. More seating or pub/cocktail tables to eat food on would be amazing. We've gotten into the habit of eating before going because there's usually nowhere to sit or stand to eat except your lap. There's just so many things that could be done to improve the experience. These things won't make us stop coming to games because we love football (soccer) and we want to support our home team! But upgrading the stadium would make the experience far more enjoyable. :)
